We are currently looking to add to our Customer Care Team. The Inside Sales Representative – Business Development (BDR) position will be responsible for seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal.

Position is office based using phone & email. No travel required.

Job Description:

• Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails (locating prospective customers, generating them into leads and eventually converting them to customers)
• Present our company to potential clients
• Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services (demonstrating product knowledge and sales abilities)
• Using strong research skills and deep product or industry knowledge to answer any questions about the product
• Customer service skills to listen to customers and professionally answer questions or address concerns
• Communication skills to confidently make cold calls or negotiate sales terms
• Keeping contact lists and following up with current customers to continue building relationships

Qualifications (Required):

• 2+ years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding targets
• Post Secondary Education (2YR Diploma / 4YR Degree)
• Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills, communication skills – written and verbal
• Must enjoy working on a team within an office environment
• Must be comfortable with cold / warm calling
• Ability to identify opportunities and to develop and implement effective sales strategies
• Comfortable using the Mac computers

Qualifications (Preferred):

• Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
